Christina Barbato is an associate with the firm specializing in civil litigation, including class action and personal injury law. Christina joined Rochon Genova LLP in 2005 as an articling student.
Educational Background
Christina obtained her Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in 2002, her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2005 and was called to the Bar in July of 2006.
While studying at McMaster University, Christina led a number of committees organizing various faculty events. During law school, Christina volunteered at Community Living Windsor, Community Legal Aid and Pro Bono Students Canada. She also completed a co-op at the University of Windsor Mediation Clinic.
Memberships and Associations
Christina is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian-Italian Advocates Organization, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Community Involvement
Christina currently volunteers for KidsFest, a non-profit organization promoting running and reading programs for children and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Toronto. As an avid runner, she often participates in 5 and 10 Kilometer charitable runs and plays recreational floor hockey and baseball.
