Martha Nino was born in Colombia and immigrated to Canada in 2001. Martha began working at Rochon Genova in 2004 to serve as the link to thousands of Hispanics regarding immigrating to Canada. Martha, under the supervision of Vincent Genova, represents the firm in Latin America.

The experience that Martha has gained as an immigrant, along with as her desire and continuous studies with immigration law, makes her the perfect fit for our immigration matters.

Educational Background

Martha received her Law Degree in 1992 from the Universidad Catolica of Columbia. Martha also achieved two post graduate studies in Colombia for Taxation Law and Management.

Publications

In Columbia, Martha authored 10 volumes of "Estatuto Tributario y Legislación Coplementaria". In Canada she has written immigration articles for several Hispanic media forums including websites, newspapers and magazines. Martha owns and publishes the revista Abanico magazine. Revista Abanico's premise is to encourage the established Hispanics in Canada to assist those Hispanic immigrants who are currently in the process of adapting to their new culture and society in Canada.

Community Involvement

Martha is an active member and supporter of several Hispanic associations in Canada including Asociacion de Profesionales Colombianos CCPA, Fundacion Venezolana Alma LLanera. Patronato del Peru, etc.
