
Bryan Quick
Associate
Biography
Bryan Quick is an associate working primarily with the class action team. He began at Rochon Genova in April 2023 while completing his Juris Doctor (JD) at Osgoode Hall Law School and subsequently articled at the firm. He has assisted with various class actions including securities, product liability, consumer protection, aviation, and institutional abuse matters.
During law school, Bryan completed Osgoode’s Intensive Program in Criminal Law through a placement with the Honourable Robert Goldstein at the Superior Court. He was a recipient of the Honourable Ian Scott Public Interest Award and, in that capacity, worked with lawyer Shane Martinez on matters concerning inmate rights. He volunteered with the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) organization and introduced Toronto high school students to legal subjects.
Prior to his legal career, Bryan was the executive director of the Marshall Chess Club / Foundation in New York City for seven years. In that capacity he organized international chess tournaments and spearheaded several major projects: the Club’s centennial anniversary; collaboration with the World Chess Federation (FIDE) during the 2016 World Chess Championship; a major building renovation; and a complete restructuring of operations. He expanded access to the Club’s programming for underserved youth by building relationships with organizations including Chess-in-the-Schools, Success Academy, IS 318 Brooklyn, and the Tyler Rigg Foundation.
