Trina DeSa

Overview

Trina DeSa is an associate at Rochon Genova whose practice focuses on personal injury and aviation litigation. She brings substantial experience across a range of plaintiff- and defence-side matters, including complex injury claims, aviation law, long-term disability, casualty insurance, insurance subrogation disputes, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

Before joining Rochon Genova, Trina practised for a number of years at a prominent Toronto personal injury firm, where she developed broad litigation experience in both plaintiff and defence personal injury work. Her background also includes experience in aviation law and insurance-related disputes, giving her a well-rounded perspective on complex civil claims.

Trina holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2002.

She has appeared before the Superior Courts of Justice, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, and the Consent and Capacity Board. Her advocacy experience across these forums reflects a practical and client-focused litigation practice.
